About Dr. Usha Rajagopal

A proud graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Usha Rajagopal worked for her Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of California in San Francisco. Aside from her membership with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Rajagopal is also a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Usha Rajagopal is credited for having done research published in The Journal of Plastic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Rajagopal has done presentations at a variety of Plastic Surgery conferences, aside from running clinical trials and moderating guest panels for medical products and laser companies. This is on top of mentoring other physicians on advanced injectable and surgical techniques.

Dr. Usha Rajagopal has succeeded in building a solid reputation in the industry for her genuine caring attitude as well as her matchless expertise and knowledge of advanced Plastic Surgery technology and procedures. She has even made numerous media appearances in Marie Claire, Eye on the Bay, KRON-4, Women-Now TV, San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner Newspapers, Channel 7 News, and Readers’ Digest to name just a few.

Dr. Rajagopal is also a regular contributor to RealSelf. She is a Patient’s Choice award winner as well as a Botox Platinum Level injector. She has been accorded the Expert Network Distinguished Doctor Designation©, which is an honor only conferred upon the Top 3% of physicians in the USA.

When she’s not attending to patients’ needs as the Medical Director of the San Francisco Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, Dr. Usha Rajagopal enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Rajagopal is a self-confessed SF city foodie who also loves hiking, travel, photography, and painting. She is also a yoga practitioner. Dr. Rajagopal supports the efforts of the Prasad project, a not-for-profit organization benefiting children and communities in medical need, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness organization.
